2. Push on change-over ratchet. Press the tool firmly against the sealing ring while turning it in a clockwise direction until the extraction tool is pulled

into the sealing ring.

3. Undo the screw -A- and turn the change-over ratchet in a clockwise direction -B- until the sealing ring falls out.

Removing sealing ring for crankshaft belt pulley 

Note: The crankshaft sealing ring for the pulley was changed in model year 2005 as of engine number BFD20319. This crankshaft sealing ring is now
permanently integrated in the joint flange and can no longer be changed as a separate item. If there is a leak, the complete joint flange must be
replaced.
