Removing and installing wiring harness for tailgate

Technical values

Preliminary work

1. Remove side panel from rear lid.
2. Remove lining for rear lid.
3. Removing headliner.
4. Remove number plate lights.
5. Remove rear lid release.
6. Remove the rear spoiler.

Removing wiring harness for tailgate

Removing wiring harness, left side of tailgate to lid hinge

1. Pull off connector on rear window wiper -Arrow A-.
2. Release connector -Arrows B- and remove from lock lower part on rear window -Arrow C-.
3. Turn plug connection through approx. 90° -Arrow D- and remove from clip -Arrow E-.
4. Release connector -Arrow F- and disconnect plug connection of contact switch for rear window - arrow G-.
