1. Push brake pads back slightly and evenly with piston resetting fixture (replaces P83) Nr.144, -direction arrow-.
2. Release and unclip the connector on the wear indicator -arrow-.
3. Remove cable holder for the brake line and wear indicator -arrow-.
Information
Never use an impact bolter to loosen and tighten the brake caliper on the wheel carrier.
4. Detach the brake line at the brake caliper -arrow- and collect brake fluid in a suitable container. Close off the line with a suitable stopper. Remove
the brake caliper from the wheel carrier using a socket-wrench insert, multiple tooth with pin guide Nr.33 (-arrows-).
Removing 18-inch plus brake caliper (Turbo as of model year 2008)
