Brake cable lock at deflector

8. Unclip securing clip using a screwdriver -see illustration- and remove it.

9. Remove the ball head from the latch at the deflector. To do this, use an open-ended wrench (a/f 22) on the deflector hexagon -see illustration- and

turn it until the end of the cable can be removed -direction arrow-.

10. To remove the brake cable, press -the retaining lugs on the clip (arrow)- together and pull it out of the bracket.
