Installing guide and tensioning rails

1. Fit deflector rail -4- by fitting the fastening screws -5-.

Timing chain and sprockets

1 - Double-chain camshaft drive

2 - Camshaft sprocket

3 - Screw, M12 x 140 Tighten completely after setting timing.

4 - Deflector rail

5 - Screw, M8 x 35 - Tightening torque: 32 Nm (24 ftlb.)

2. Fit guide rail -3-. Small tensioning rail is locked with -6- at the guide rail. Slide guide rail onto the threaded pegs and move into the correct

installation position with respect to the fitted drive chain for the oil pump.

Pull locking pin (this brings the tensioning rail in contact).
