Removing and installing control unit for tire pressure monitoring system

Preliminary work 

Remove cover under dashboard on left.

Removing control unit for tire pressure monitoring system

Information

The control unit for the tire pressure monitoring system is located below the dashboard, near the mounting saddle for the foot-operated parking
brake.

If possible, before the control unit is removed and replaced, a read-out of the vehicle data should be obtained from the Porsche System Tester.

Overview of control unit for tire pressure monitoring system

1. Unscrew and remove both expanding rivets.

Unscrew and remove expanding rivets.

2. Unlock connector lock, unplug plug connection and remove control unit.

Installing control unit for tire pressure monitoring system 

1. Push plug connection onto the control unit and lock plug.
