Change in emissions.

Check Engine light comes on.

Always expose oxygen sensor cable so that the wire can turn when unscrewing or screwing in the sensor.

Do not kink cable.

1. Carefully unscrew oxygen sensors at the primary catalytic converter. -1-

Installing oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter

1. Grease thread of oxygen sensors with Optimoly Paste MF (000 043 207 07) before fitting them. Make sure that the paste does not get into the slits

in the sensor body

2. Carefully screw in oxygen sensors at the primary catalytic converter. -1-
3. Tighten oxygen sensor using special tool (e.g. open-end/ring wrench Nr.98). - Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 ftlb.)±5 Nm (±3.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install primary catalytic converter.
