1. Fit new sealing ring on special tool assembly sleeve 3295.
2. Drive in sealing ring using special tool assembly sleeve 3295 -Arrow- until the special tool touches the transmission housing.

Plug used to seal converter opening

After installing a new sealing ring, the converter assembly opening must be sealed with a plug -1- (955.301.729.00). This reduces the amount of dirt
that can enter the converter bell housing.

2. Install transmission.
