3. Remove selector lever cover with special tool release hook 9713. Do this from the front, hooking into the right and left of the release plate -Inset-,

and press outwards. Pull the cover upwards slightly at the same time.

4. Release the rear release plates in the same way.
5. Remove selector-lever cover and separate cable connection.

6. Remove transverse strut of center console -Arrows-.
