Ensure that converter is seated correctly.

4. The converter is installed at the correct position when the special tool locating pins 95950 can be inserted through the opening in the converter bell

housing in front of the converter -inset-.

5. When sliding in the torque converter -1-, the sealing lip of the shaft sealing ring can bend over because of a ridge on the torque converter -1-.

6. Pull torque converter -1- out by approx. 5 mm. This moves the shaft sealing ring back into its correct installation position.
