3.4 Lock the roof box by turning the key counter-clockwise and remove the key.

INFORMATION:  Please pass all this information on to the customer as well.

4. Remove the roof box from the roof transport system

4.1 Open the roof box and empty it completely.
4.2 Loosen the four M8 butterfly nuts slightly.
4.3 Open the side caps on each end of the brackets (-> Instructions for using the roof transport system and labor operation no. 669223 or

Instructions for using roof rail cross bars and labor operation no. 669223).

4.4 Together with a second person, carefully pull the roof box sideways out of the roof transport system brackets and remove it from the vehicle.
4.5 Lock the roof box, clean it if necessary (observe warning) and store it lying flat in a suitable location.
4.6 Close the side caps on the end of the brackets (see relevant instructions for use).
