G 8.2.4 Painting 996 Millennium rims

WARNING:  -> 2 "Safety regulations" and read the product-specific safety instructions on the container labels.

NOTE:

-

The Millennium wheels are subjected as standard to a complex surface treatment process.

-

The possibility for repair is limited to repairing the surface paint finish of the rims with clear lacquer.

-

It is not possible to remedy damage to deeper surface layers using equipment available in the workshop. It may be possible to re-coat the surface of
the rim.

G 8.3.1 Basic procedure for painting spoilers

NOTE:

-

The new 928 spoiler must be baked for 30 minutes at 70-80° C.

-

This stabilizes the component in such a way that it cannot bend out of shape.

-

If possible, do not sand primer through to bare material on spoilers that are supplied primed ex-works.
