Removing console for oil-water heat exchanger. 

Caution:  Danger of scalding!

Engine oil and components of the oil circuit can become very hot!

^

Prevent contact with the skin and eyes.

^

Wear suitable protective clothing.

Please observe applicable general warning notes and working regulations in chapter.

1. Position the vehicle at the take-up points provided on a lifting platform.
2. Open the bonnet.

Note:

The coolant filled in at the factory is intended for lifetime cooling and, thus, need not be changed. 

^

This coolant must not be mixed with other coolants. Only original Porsche antifreeze should be used when changing or topping up the coolant.

3. Open maintenance cover.

Caution:  Danger of scalding!

Coolant can be extremely hot and pressurized.

^

Only open the cooling system when it is cold.

^

Wear gloves.

4. Carefully open the cap on the coolant expansion tank. Unscrew the cap in counterclockwise direction.
5. Open cap on the expansion tank and remove.

6. Remove underbody cover.
