14. Loosen both turbocharger oil return pipes on the oil filter console. Finally pull the connections part way out of the console.

15. Release coolant lines from oil-water heat exchanger. To do this, release the two spring-band clamps and pull the lines upwards.

16. Unscrew the 4 fastening screws on the console.

Caution:  Danger of injury!

When pulling the console off, even greater amounts of engine oil can leak out.

This can occur suddenly if the console is firmly attached. There is a danger of fingers being crushed in this case.

17. Pull the console forwards off the engine. Use an appropriate tool to lever the console off very carefully if it is firmly attached.
