the wheel bearing. Insert the tubular piston cylinder VAS 6178. Position the pressure piece T10205/9 and the nut for the threaded rod in correct
position 8-2. Mount wheel bearing. Shortly before the stop, the applied force will be between 35 KN and 60 KN. The maximum assembling force
must not exceed 90 KN at the stop.

3. Position the -snap ring- with the opening facing downward. When the Seger ring is fitted correctly, -dimension X- is at least 15 mm. If this

dimension is not reached, the Seger ring must be fitted again. If necessary, carefully press the wheel bearing again.

4. Fit the wheel hub (tools).

Carry out a close visual inspection of the seat of the wheel hub. There must not be scores, grooves or similar deformations on the hub.

5. Position the -wheel hub- in the correct position. Position the pressure piece T10205/10 in the correct position on the wheel hub. Insert the tubular

piston cylinder VAS 6178. Position the pressure piece T10205/6 and the nut for the threaded rod in correct position 8-2. Pull in the wheel hub.
Shortly before the stop, the applied force will be between 9 KN and 35 KN. The maximum assembling force must not exceed 40 KN at the stop.
