Installing the DME Control Unit

Removing And Installing DME Control Unit

NOTE:

-

If the DME control unit is replaced, it must be programmed using the Porsche System Tester. This is to adapt the DME control unit to the vehicle,
the national variant and the equipment. The DME control unit is located in the radiator tank near the right fender.

If possible, before the DME control unit is removed and replaced, a read-out of the vehicle data should be obtained from the Porsche System
Tester.

Symbol for the TAB key = ->|.

Instructions for the Porsche System Tester have a higher priority and are to be followed where descriptions deviate. Deviations may occur with
later software versions.

Installing the DME control unit

1. Insert both plugs into the control unit and push in detent in -direction of arrow-.

2. Insert control unit and secure with the two retaining clips -arrow-.
