Replacing DME Control Modules Unnecessarily

Concern:

Replacing functional DME control modules unnecessarily due to fault codes in the DME fault memory, whose cause is not the DME control module.

Information:

Test have shown that most DME control modules returned under warranty have fault codes in the DME fault memory not related to a DME control unit
malfunction, however faults codes related to other components (e.g., secondary-air pumps).
