CAUTION:

Exhaust system can be very hot.

Only remove the exhaust system when it has cooled down.

Wear protective gloves.
Removing main catalytic converter on cylinder bank 1 - 4
1. Remove engine guard with transverse strut.
View shows transverse strut
2. Release connecting clamps between the catalytic converters and the exhaust system. Then push the clamps backwards onto the exhaust system.
The exhaust clamps must not be reused.
