3. Unscrew cardan shaft bolts to the front on the transfer box.

Caution:  Screw threads used to fasten transmission cross members on holder can pull out.

Follow the sequence for the procedure.

4. Removing transmission cross members:

Support transmission with transmission jack and secure with fixing strap.

Unscrew four screws from the exhaust system on the cross member.

Unscrew bolts -A- on body.

Unscrew two transmission cross member screws -B- on transfer box holder.

5. Remove shield on the transmission. To do this, unscrew three fastening screws.
6. Pull out compact connector on multi-function switch.
