Removing and Installing Rear Level Sensor

Removing and installing rear level sensor 

Note!

A level sensor is installed on each spring strut in running gears with level control.

The removal and installation on the right spring strut has been described.

^

The level sensor is screwed to the suspension subframe and top control arm.

Removing rear level sensor 

1. Counter with an open-ended wrench on the two flats -1- and unscrew the fastening nut.
2. Unscrew both fastening screws -2-.

3. Press the electrical plug together -a- and pull it off.

Installing rear level sensor 

1. Connect the electrical plug to the angle sensor until it engages audibly.
