Battery care and maintenance steps.

The newly defined steps and procedures should be regarded as minimum requirements due to the reduced scope compared to the previous Technical
Information and these steps and procedures must be carried out accordingly.

The work procedures are shown graphically in Steps 1 and 6 - 11 cover the activities and action required for battery care and maintenance in the time
period between new vehicle and vehicle handover to the customer.

The procedures apply to both new and pre-owned vehicles.

The Quick overview (Step 1) serves as a guide. It lists the key points for the relevant vehicle usage (e.g. showroom vehicle) and roughly outlines the
various steps and activities without going into detail.

The actual work must always be performed by following the detailed procedure descriptions (Steps 6 to 11) and the information in the legends.

The steps and procedures for the corresponding individual graphics are listed and explained briefly in the legend (Step 12).
