9. Unscrew cable fastening screw on the cable adjustment using special tool special inserts model AB 170 and remove retaining clip.

10. Remove selector frame.

Installing selector support

Note:

When a new selector support is used, the cable adjustment of the selector cable must be modified.

Removing and installing cable adjustment

Remove pins and take out cable adjustment.

Insert cable adjustment on the new selector support and install pins.

When doing so, ensure that the opening for the adjusting screw is turned upwards.

1. Push selector lever cable into cable adjustment.

2. Push on retaining clip and screw in fastening screw using the special inserts model AB 170 tool and the accessory for the torque wrench: open ring

wrench insert a/f 13 + adapter 98-1 on the cable adjustment.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.)
