Clutch tightening sequence

Preliminary work for clutch

1. Remove manual transmission.

1. Mark position of clutch adjuster on the clutch pressure plate using a colored pen -arrow- .

Caution:

Clutch grabbing

Clutch pressure plate may warp if screws are not loosened and tightened evenly.

Loosen and tighten the clutch pressure plate in the specified order.

2. Unscrew the fastening screws on the clutch in the specified order -1 to 6- in several stages. Loosen each screw by half a turn at a time.
