2. Remove round seal on output flange.

3. Remove flange with shop made tool and striker vw 771/1.

Caution:
Leakage due to scores on the sealing face.

When removing the sealing ring, place the tip of the hook on the sealing ring only and not on the sealing face.

4. Remove sealing ring with special tool hook VW 681.

Installing sealing ring for rear transfer box (output flange)

1. Drive in new sealing ring with special tool pressure piece T10185 until the special tool touches the transmission housing.
