Rear Window Washing System Spray Nozzle Drip

Concerns:
Spray nozzle of the rear window washing system continues to run/drip after use.

Information:

After the rear window is cleaned With the washing system, water continues to run/drip from the spray nozzle for a short time. The spray nozzle can
be replaced with a spray nozzle with check valve to remedy the problem.

Work Procedure:
Removing and installing spray nozzle:

The spray nozzle for the rear window washing system is installed in the additional brake light below the rear spoiler.

1.

The upper shell half of the rear spoiler must be removed before the additional brake light can be removed. In this regard, see Cayenne Technical
Manual, Group 6, 66-21 - Removing and installing rear spoiler.

2.

The additional brake light must be removed in order to change to the spray nozzle. In this regard, see Cayenne Technical Manual, Group 9, 94-22
- Removing and installing additional brake light

3.

Change the spray nozzle.

4.

Install additional brake light.

5.

Install upper shell half of rear spoiler.

6.

The new spray nozzle must be adjusted after the work has been completed.
