3. Prevent the spare wheel mount from falling down with the help of an assistant.
4. Unscrew fastening screws -3- on the top mounting of the spare wheel mount -1- .

5. Pull the spare wheel mount -1- out of the bottom mounting until the plug connection -4- is accessible.

6. Pull the plug connection -4- along with the wiring harness out of the spare wheel mount -1- until the sealing grommet -5- disengages.
7. Release plug connection -4- and disconnect it -arrow A- .

8. Remove spare wheel mount -1- .
