Work Procedure:

1. Preparatory work

1.1 Drive the vehicle onto a lifting platform and position it --> Workshop Manual '4X00IN01 Lifting the vehicle'.

1.2 Connect charger to battery --> Workshop Manual '2706 Battery'.

1.3 Remove the engine compartment cover, above the lambda sensor connectors --> Workshop Manual '700219 Removing and installing front

trim (engine compartment) - section on "Removing".

1.4 Disconnect plug connections for the lambda sensors (two on each side; left side - see --> Figure 4) and release lines --> Workshop Manual
