1. Loosen screw on ball clamp -1-. Open up ball clamp and slide it aside.

2. Loosen tailpipe and remove it towards the rear through the rear apron.
3. Clean extension positions and replace ball clamp.
4. Move tailpipes into installation position and align them. To do this, tighten ball clamp slightly, check the gap dimensions, align the tailpipes and

then tighten the ball clamp. - Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)±3.5 Nm (± 2.5 ftlb.)

Tailpipe not fitted correctly

Observe exact gap dimensions.

After the test drive, check the gap dimensions again and re-adjust if necessary.
