Removing And Installing Crankshaft Pulse Sender On DFI Engines

Technical values

Preliminary work

1. Remove engine compartment cover at the rear and left.
2. Remove engine guard from the transmission.

Removing crankshaft pulse sender

Removing pulse sender (crankshaft reference mark sender)

1. Loosen cable for crankshaft pulse sender out of the clips and release cable. Use a long screwdriver to do this if necessary.

2. Disconnect cable plug on reference mark sender (TDC sender) at the top at the engine cable duct -1-.

INFORMATION:  The installation position and cable routing for the crankshaft pulse sender is identical for both manual and automatic
transmissions.
