Using the vehicle identification number, select the Job Documentation tab in Job Management in the PIWIS Information System. Then select -->
Parts List --> Parts and, using the above-named parts numbers, check whether PCCB discs have already been installed on the vehicle in the case of
spare parts requirement.

If YES: --> 2.2
If NO: --> 3.3

2. PCCB discs 955 were installed: The previous version is installed on the vehicle. --> 3.3

PCCB discs 958 were installed: The new version is installed on the vehicle. --> 4.4

3. The previous version 955 is installed on the vehicle.

Depending on the spare part requirement (see below), check whether 955 parts are still available due to using up existing supplies.

Spare parts requirement:

In the case of edge damage, 1 x (left or right); see also 465102 Checking front PCCB brake disc (wear assessment)

or

in the case of wear, 2 x (1 x left and 1 x right); see also 465102 Checking front PCCB brake disc (wear assessment).

Information

If one of the required PCCB discs 955 is no longer available, PCCB discs 958 must be installed on the front axle (left and right).

Mixed installation of PCCB discs 955 and 958 on the front axle is not permissible.

End of remedial action.

4. The new version 958 is installed on the vehicle.
