Eliminating Symptoms On Body Exterior - Reworking Remote Control

Symptom
Remote control buttons too loose.

Causes and remedial action

Cause

The buttons on the remote control can become too easily pressed as a result of constant pressure (e.g. when kept in the pocket of your trousers). This can
set off the remote control prematurely.

Remedial action

In the event of a complaint, replace the silicone pad and buttons with modified spare parts.

INFORMATION:
To prevent irreparable damage to the PCB as a result of an electrostatic discharge, always observe the following points:

Only rework the remote control on a workbench or tool box.

Before opening the remote control, place both hands on the workbench or on the toolbox to ground yourself (place both hands briefly on the
workbench).

Then start working immediately.

The PCB should only be held carefully at the edge.

Insert the PCB into the silicone pad again immediately after removing and assemble the remote control.

1. Insert a small screwdriver between the cover and the lower part of the remote control -arrow- and carefully lift the lid off.
