Replacing Sound Absorber (Insulation) For Rear Panel Trim

Preliminary work

1. Remove accessories close to the sound absorber (insulation).

INFORMATION:  The sound absorbers (insulation) must always be replaced if they are damaged or cracked.

2. Remove sound absorber (insulation).
3. Remove all adhesive residue on the body/accessories and clean with cleaning solution.

Installing sound absorber for rear panel trim

Installing sound absorber for luggage retainer retaining strip

INFORMATION:  The fastening points must remain accessible when positioning the sound absorbers (insulation).

1. Pull off protective film and stick retaining strip sound absorbers for luggage retainer -1- to the retaining strip -2-.
