2. Heat up insulation for floorpan assembly -1- using a Leister Elektron hot-air gun and press on securely using a rubber roller.

Replacing Sound Absorber (Insulation) For Passenger Compartment

Preliminary work

1. Remove accessories close to the sound absorber (insulation).

INFORMATION:  The sound absorbers (insulation) must always be replaced if they are damaged or cracked.

2. Remove sound absorber (insulation).
3. Remove all adhesive residue on the body/accessories and clean with cleaning solution.

INFORMATION:  The fastening points must remain accessible when positioning the sound absorbers (insulation).

1. Pull off protective film and fold up sound absorber for oddments tray -1- (-Arrow A-).
