INFORMATION:  The adhesive tape protects the rear lid from damage when removing the rear spoiler.

2. Mask the rear lid -2- with adhesive tape -1-.

3. Heat the rear spoiler -1- in the marked area -A- (adhesive tape) with the hot-air blower v.a.g 1416 (-arrows-).

4. Insert a plastic wedge between the rear spoiler -1- and rear lid -2- and loosen the bonded joint.

5. Remove the rear spoiler -1- by guiding it towards the rear -arrows-.
6. Remove adhesive residue -A- on the rear lid -2- using the film eraser Nr.174 Pos.1 and holder Nr.174 Pos.2.
