1. Make a 3-mm hole at the front of the sealing ring using an angle drill. Grease the drill in order to bind the chips caused by drilling. Screw a
sheetmetal screw with a washer (5 x 2) approx. 5 mm into the bore hole.

2. Position a lever tool on the sheetmetal screw, (e.g. Assembly lever 9182), place a wooden wedge between the lever tool and the crankcase and
lever out the sealing ring. Carefully remove any residual dirt on the crankshaft flange.
