Removing And Installing Auxiliary Brake Light

Preliminary work for auxiliary brake light

Remove cover for rear luggage-compartment lid.

Removing auxiliary brake light

1. Loosen the two fastening screws -1- for the auxiliary brake light and pull the auxiliary brake light downwards out of the mounting point on the rear

lid.

2. Pull off electric connector on the auxiliary brake light.

Installing auxiliary brake light

1. Connect electric connector to the auxiliary brake light until the connector is felt to engage.

2. Position auxiliary brake light in rear lid and screw down with the two fastening screws -1-. - Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.)
3. Check operation of auxiliary brake light.

Install cover for rear luggage-compartment lid.
