4.4. Replace seal at filler neck.

Installing filler neck

WARNING:
Highly inflammable or explosive materials

Danger of fire or explosion
-

Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.

Use suction to remove ignitable vapors.

Attach warning sign in a clearly visible position.

INFORMATION:  Replace seal at filler neck.

1. Coat filler neck lightly with new engine oil in the assembly area in front of the seal.
2. Install filler neck -2-.

2.1. Coat filler neck lightly with new engine oil in the assembly area in front of the seal.
2.2. Coat seal lightly with Kluber Syntheso Glep (Porsche part number 000.043.204.68).

2.3. Insert filler neck into the tank opening. Then turn the filler neck to the left and right and position it in the installation position.

3. Install the holder.

3.1. Fit and tighten internal Torx screw (T27, M6 x 20) -4- for the body (in the wheel arch). - Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

3.2. Fit and tighten two hexagon-head bolts (M6 x 20) -5- on the filler neck holder. - Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

4. Install the tank tray.

4.1. Fit and clip in the tank tray -1- ( -arrows- ).
