Installing front belt lock
DANGER: Loosen the safety-related threaded joint.

Danger of injury if belt lock is not screwed on correctly.

Always replace fastening screw on belt lock after customer service and reworking.

Never make alterations to the micro-self-locking screws (e.g. never use lubricant, loosen bolts, and screw them down again).
1. Install front belt lock.
1.1. Guide front belt lock -2- in through the opening on the seat shell -arrow A-.
1.2. Secure front belt lock -2- with the fastening screw -1-. Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.) ± 5 Nm (± 3.5 ftlb.)
1.3. Pull wire harness -3- through the seat frame -arrow B-.
2. Join connector socket.
2.1. Push the single connectors -3- into the connector socket -1- (-arrow-) until the single connectors engage securely.
2.2. Secure the wire harness with a new tie-wrap -2- on the connector socket -1-.
3. Insert the connector socket into the seat shell -arrow A- and turn it 90° to the right -arrow B-.
INFORMATION: When routing the wire harness for the front belt lock, ensure that it is routed without tension.
4. Secure wire harness for front belt lock -2- with new tie-wraps -1-.
