Preliminary work
1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.
2. Remove support plate.
3. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.
Removing halfshaft flange
Information
Protect drive shafts against mechanical damage (e.g. with a rubber hose which has been cut open).
1. Remove left drive shaft on transmission side. To do this, unscrew the six Allen screws joining each drive shaft and transmission flange. Counter at
the wheel or activate the parking brake to avoid simultaneous turning.

2. Remove halfshaft flange. To do this, place a suitable support -B- under the halfshaft flange and press the halfshaft flange out of the transmission by
screwing in a screw -A-.
