3. Remove sealing ring for parking lock shaft.

Pierce the sealing ring -1- for the parking lock shaft -2- with a small screwdriver and lever it out.

Information

During installation, make sure that the selector lever is in position "P" on the selector support and at the rear end position on the transmission. The
parking lock must be fully engaged. Avoid "tooth-on-tooth" position.

1. Install sealing ring for parking lock shaft.
1.1.

Fit sealing ring for parking lock shaft.

Thinly coat outer circumference and sealing lip of sealing ring with Vaseline.

1.2.

Tap in sealing ring for parking lock shaft using the pressure sleeve T10174 (-1-) or a long No. 13 wrench until it fits perfectly into the
transmission.

2. Install parking lock shaft.

Fit parking lock lever and press it onto the parking lock shaft. Then, screw on and tighten the M8 nut.

Tightening torque: 16 Nm (12 ftlb.)

3. Engage parking lock cable on the Porsche Doppelkupplung.
