-> Use only the type-specific brake pads specified in the Porsche Spare Parts Catalogue.
4. Insert brake pads.
Warning
Increased risk of accidents if old parts are fitted on brake calliper.

This can cause malfunctions.
-> Fit new expanding spring, new retainer pin and new retainer on the brake calliper.
5. Fit new expanding spring, new retaining pin and new retainer. These parts are available as a repair kit and must be replaced each time the pads are
changed.
6. Insert the warning contact wire and the warning contacts.
7. Press the brake pedal several times to position the brake pads on the brake discs.
8. Check the brake fluid level and correct it if necessary. The brake fluid level must be between the MIN/MAX marking.
9. Install wheel.
Bedding in the brake pads
New brake pads require a bedding-in period of approx. 200 km. Only then do they achieve their maximum braking effect. The slightly reduced braking
effect must be compensated for by increased pressure on the brake pedal. The same also applies after a brake disc change.
