Remove wheel.

Removing rear brake pads - PCCB brakes

The core of the warning contact wire must not be left exposed! Worn insulation is not important!

If necessary, remove a little brake fluid from the reservoir by suction in order to prevent an overflow when the disc brake pads are pushed back!

1. Remove retainer (securing clip) -Arrow- at the top of the retaining pin and move retaining pin -Direction arrow- inwards.

2. Remove warning contact wire (on the brake callipers, expanding spring and from the disc brake pads).
3. Remove expanding spring.
4. Brake piston resetting fixture NR.144 must be positioned on the brake calliper between the disc brake pads. Then push pads back evenly

5. Remove disc brake pads.

Danger of accidents if brake pads of the wrong quality are installed.

This can result in longer braking distances and more wear.

-> Use only the type-specific brake pads in the Porsche Spare Parts Catalogue.

Warning
Danger of accidents if old parts are fitted on brake caliper.

This can cause malfunctions.

-> Fit new expanding spring, new retaining pin and new retainer (securing clip) on the brake calliper.

Do not grease the back of the disc brake pad.

Check disc brakes for wear.

Use a new repair kit.

1. Before fitting the brake pads, check the brake discs for wear.
2. If necessary, push the brake pistons back into their original position using the brake piston resetting fixture NR.144.
3. Insert disc brake pads.
