Note:

The PCM2.1 logbook supports the driver in maintaining a logbook by recording all relevant data for the type of trip (private, business), much of it
automatically, and reducing user input to a minimum. PCM2.1 automatically records every trip covering a distance > 100 miles. Trip recording starts
as soon as the key is inserted in the ignition and ends when it is removed. PCM2.1 will automatically record the following data:

Date/time of departure and arrival

Mileage at the start and end of the trip

^

Start and destination address (location, street, country)

^

GPS co-ordinates for business and work trips

The recorded data can be copied from PCM2.1 to a laptop or Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) via the PCM2.1 infrared interface.

It can be read in, edited and printed using the accompanying PC software.

After ordering, i.e. entering the part number and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in SAP, the enabling code should be displayed within one day
once the VIN is entered in the Integrated Porsche Dealer Handling System (IPAS).
