1. Remove connections and reservoir screws.
1.1.

Release and unplug connector for the water level sensor -1-.

1.2.

Remove coolant hose -4-.

Hot fluid

Danger of scalding

-> Avoid contact with hot fluid.
-> Wear personal protective gear.

Information
After pulling off the hoses, close off all openings immediately using commercially available rubber stoppers.

When fitting parts, do not remove stoppers until shortly before installation.

Release and pull off vent line -3-.

1.4.

Remove fastening screw -2-.

2. Pull reservoir forward out of the guide and remove it in a downward direction -direction arrow-.

Installing coolant reservoir

The coolant reservoir is installed in reverse order.

1. Slide the reservoir towards the rear and into the guide.
2. Fit connections and reservoir screws.
2.1.

Fit the fastening screw. -> Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)

2.2.

Fit the vent line.

2.3.

Fit the coolant hose.

2.4.

Plug in connector for the water level sensor.

Subsequent work

1. Install the rear part of the front wheel housing cover on the left side.
2. Install cover for front underbody.
3. Install left wheel.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Fill in cooling water.
