The water pump for the V6 can be confused with the water pump for V8 engines.

The water pump for the V6 must not be installed in V8 engines. Heat damage!

Do not store the V6 water pump together with V8 water pumps.

The water pump for the V6 has a color marking with the inscription V6 on the housing.
*
Mark a V6 water pump clearly with a pen if the V6 inscription is missing.
1. Clean sealing faces. Fit coolant pump with new seal.
