2.1. Screw in fastening screws -2- ( -arrow B- ).

- Tightening torque: 1.1 Nm (0.5 ftlb.)

2.2. Plug in electric plug connection -1- until the locking mechanism engages securely -arrow A-.

3. Fit transverse strut under the trim panel for the dashboard.

Subsequent work

1. Install trim panel under dashboard at the driver's side.

2. Install front door entry guard on driver s side.

Preliminary work

1. Remove seat on front passenger side.

2. Remove door entry guard on front passenger side.

3. Remove glove box.

4. Remove footwell outlet vent on front passenger side.
