Preliminary work
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove trim panel under dashboard at driver's side.
3. If the PDK control unit is installed, remove PDK control unit.
Removing control unit for front-end electronics
1. Unclip control unit for front-end electronics from the bracket.
1.1. Release the securing lugs with a screwdriver -arrow A-.
1.2. Pull control unit for front-end electronics and intermediate support -1- out of the bracket -2- in direction of travel.
1.3. Swivel control unit for front-end electronics and intermediate support out sideways in a downward direction.
