5. Position electric plug connection -arrow A- and clip it into the bracket -arrow B- .
6. Align seat belt mount at the marking -2-

7. Secure seat belt mount with a fastening screw -1- .

Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)

8. Perform a function test.

The belt strap must be fully rolled up when the function test is started.

Move the seat belt height adjustment to the highest position.

Pull out belt strap completely as far as it will go.

-

Roll up the belt strap again slowly. An audible clattering noise can be heard when you do this.

If the rolling-up process is interrupted, the belt strap cannot be pulled out again (permanent belt blockage).

The permanent belt blockage function must switch off at least 100 mm before the belt strap is rolled up fully, thereby ensuring that the belt
strap can be pulled out again.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear part of C-pillar trim.
2. Install rear seat.
3. Connect the battery.
