Centering combination sensor

4. Tighten the fastening screws -1-.

-> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)±1 Nm (±0.5 ftlb.)

5. Plug in the electric connector until it engages securely.

Subsequent work

Information
Calibrate the vehicle after installing or replacing the combination sensor.

Calibration must only be performed with the vehicle >> standing horizontally with the brakes off <<.

1. Install air guide.
2. Calibrate the combination sensor (includes lateral and axial acceleration sensor) with the help of 2nd generation PIWIS Tester 9818.

To do this, go to the menu:

> Control unit overview

> PSM

> Maintenance/repair

> Sensor cluster calibration

This completes the calibration.
