Observe the torques in the torque table when tightening the fastening nuts and fastening screws.

4. Tighten fastening screw.

Subsequent work

Air suspension:

1. Should the air spring become unhooked, follow the relevant installation instructions.
2. On vehicles with air suspension, bleed the corresponding air spring using the PIWIS Tester II 9818.

Steel suspension:

1. On vehicles with steel suspension, follow the relevant installation instructions.
2. Spring clamp 9823 must then be removed.
